Just stumbled across this. Looks to be a pulpy sort of Jungle Exploration / adventure type game where you need to hire and equip an exploration party to head forth into the untamed wilderness. Encounters include beasts such as Rhinos, Giant ants, Dinosours and T-Rex's as well as Natives (who may be friendly or hostile) including tribesmen, Pygmies, Goatmen and Skeletons! C'Mon, What's not to love so far? Only had a quick glance so far, but it looks half interesting, and the mechanics of exploring could be merged with seperate rules for combat and the like if you don't like what's included (Haven't read as far as the combat yet!) (You all know what rulesets I'm thinking for combat surely... But you're free to use whatever you like Makes me wonder when "Larger than Life", the pulp set for THW is due out...) I like it from what I saw. The idea of using dollars to buy your party adds a nice theme to it. Makes me think back to some of the books that I have read where parties would be hired, each with specialists, to go a discover what lay in the jungles (esp the Amazon)
The more new things you find the more money you would make (very true for real life as well!) The more money you had the bigger the party and the more you can discover!
Adventuring does not come without its dangers though.... tribes, dangerous species even dinosaurs can halt you in your tracks (and probably devour you)
This does look like a great game!
