Lol yeah it would be hilarious. And then make up rules to use them in WFB. which for another point, is there anything in the rules about using square bases for blood bowl?
Oh f**k im an idiot. Dwarf team isnt $85 its only $45. f**kin ordering me some dwarves!

doesn't matter what bases they are on, but round ones are much better for some reason. Main thing is they have to be able to lie front down and back down. Normal warhammer minis with weapons shields etc are often not suited to this so proxying can be a real pain in BB sometimes.

I dont mean proxying fantasy minis for blood bowl, just mounting blood bowl minis on square bases. If anything one would think the square bases are better because the field is a grid, and its a straight edge for when you do flip them over to represent stunned.

if you used the big square bases for small minis it might be ok, the 20mm ones never have enough space to put the ball on the base though, which is a real pain. Round are the go, really.

I'll bring my minis over this arvo (friday) incase someone wants a game, or to get some ideas on conversions etc.

Cool. Store opens at 3pm (which you no doubt already know) I'll organise a time and date with you to come round to mine for a few games etc. My games room is finally just getting sorted out... I even have the table set up... but a lot of crap surrounding it....

Well bloodbowl is alive and kicking (or undead and shamelessly fouling as the case may be). If anyone is interested in a game tomorrow at some time preceeding car wars I'd be happy to oblige you.

Had a game today with Alex. Used a prewritten human list and they do play very well. Lost to the undead team 'Yesterdays Heroes' but only just and only in the last few turns of the game. It got very bloody during the second half as the ref was killed and the new ref was too timid to call any fouls... many players from both sides were put in the box and alas, one of my blitzers was killed and rerisen as a zombie...

yeah a cracker of a game, the death of your best player, only to become undead for my team was the highlight, especially since it was due to my guys gathering around him while he was down and bloody well laying the boot in! The TD to break the tie on the last play of the game was a fitting end to such a tight struggle. Best bit is there were twice as many casualties as TDs.
