my board and danny's board are at the D&D, though I don't think anyone who lives in renmark is intelligent enough to play.
Might have to get a few teams ordered in from GW or shadowforge, or get some people converting up their fantasy minis.

Its one of the games which will be getting the full promotion treatment when the club is up and fully running. Alex has the job if he wants it otherwise it will be a bumbling attempt by me until I learn the game inside out......
And this time there will be no resistance in place....

I might not have much time in the short term, would be handy if you can get a couple of games in and get some game familiarity.

Well then... maybe at either your or my house with a few brews? Thats sounds like a pretty good plan. Learn the game without any distractions (besides the beers) My gaming room will be back in swing in about a week or so....

In the meantime would you mind if I took your copy back to my place to refamiliarise myself with it?

Ive been looking at getting a dwarf team, but $85 is a bit steap, is there cheaper places that sell teams. ie. you mentioned shadowforge, do they do teams or just individual minis.

fine with me on both acounts Ash, shadowforge sell teams, but they aren't always a perfect fit for bloodbowl for some strange reason they are always all female teams, but you can tell that BB is what they base their miniatures design on, though they give the positions different names so they don't get sued. I bought a box of fantasy GW dwarf miniatures and converted them for BB, much cheaper and lots of fun. from left to right, blitzer lineman and runner. though with your Viking fixation fetish shouldn't you be playing with a Norse team?

Cheers Alex. I was also thinking that since you were going to lend me your old home brew set up for a test brew and see if I would like doing it maybe we can roll that into the days events aswell?
Teach Ash BB, brewing and drinking?

could work, might be lots to (re)learn in one day, but sounds fun.
Start putting together minis for a team and reading the rules, and start collecting non screw top brown bottles and reading through the PMs and beer threads from last year as a refresher on what you need to have and do.
the new soon to be released PC Xbox etc bloodbowl game has just opened for registration as a beta tester, for those faithful fans who already know how to play.

Unfortunately I am doubting there will be many actual table top blood bowl players on the beta as all the pc geeks would have got there first....

This also begs the question of which team I will collect... We all know it will be orcs but I like to ponder on things for about 5 minutes.

Chaos (either straight or nurgle) are fun, because as your players improve they can get mutations you can sculpt on. here are some of my chaos warriors, from left to right with claw, prehensile tail and tentacles. don't go with dark elves, vampires, halflings, goblins, woodelves or the harder races to start with though, Orcs are a great first team, as are chaos and skaven among others.

Well I am just WAAAAGH! Mad.... Orcs it is. I will be converting the models as I am not a huge fan of the blood bowl orc sculpts. I have a hundred or so orcs for fantasy that I really do not use and about 200 goblins...
