[Terrain] City Fight Terrain is being painted!!!

Ok, ill break it to you slowly...

Well you remember that rather awesome ruined city terrain that you have been waiting to be finished?

Well its happening, three buildings are now painted which leaves only three more. These WILL be finished by Friday night in time for a city fight game or two.

When I again have access to a camera ill post some pics in order to prove what I say is true.

Anyways once those smaller buildings are complete ill tackle the two much more impressive and larger buildings. After those two are finished I have the canals to complete and some random rubble, tanktraps and barbed wire. And with the final addition of a fountain and monument or two the table will be finished.

Keep your eyes on this space to see how its coming along...

Also special thanks to Jacob who gave me a hand today and showed me an interesting technique to use on the buildings (stipple, dapple, drybrushing)

well the buildings are now 80% completed.
Just need to finish painting the bulk of there bases and paint details (barbed wire, metal supports, grid flooring)

Im actually looking forward to finishing off those other two larger buildings. When I set up the first 5 all painted on the table it looks quite impressive. Just seeing that really has given me the push I need to get stuck back into it big time!

I have played with my angels.
Got owned by Danny, Sean, Kruger, Shippy and Steve!
I only won one game so far.

Worse defeat was against seans Sisters, all i needed to do was move a Rhino through some terrain to capture a objective and I would get a draw. Moved the rhino, rolled a one for terrain roll..... lost...

Funniest ever thing to happen was my Terminators deep striking behind Dannys guard lines. They all died without achieving a thing!

Ok, the smaller buildings are now 90% completed. They just need some of the details painted. I have however noticed that the underside of some of the floors (where the walls meet the cieling) are very visibly white due to the paint not getting in there. When I mean visibly I mean that I could notice it through the front window...

This will be remedied!

All thats left to do besides that is finish the large tower and cathedral like structure and make some random rubble piles ( and all the barbed wire, tanktraps etc) Should not be too long till its totally completed!
