I know a few of you guys might think its a little poxy for an MMO but the fact that its cheap to subscribe (and possible to do so without a credit card) makes this a potential for a great game to have a guild/clan made for.
I restarted about a week ago and canned my old character in favour of starting all over again.

Ok i'll be more specific. I hate the gameplay, the graphics, the pvp. The only mildly interesting thing was crafting but I got bored of that swiftly. The whole game just felt cheap and pissed me off. Theres better free mommorpeggers out there than Runescape.

And name a few free mmos and ill check em out. Strictly with a large world, combat and crafting. Graphics that are awesome not ness. Oh and must not be grid move based.

Uh I can think of 2moons. Great graphic engine. Lots of hours of game play. Doesn't focus on raiding at end game which i like. Its free... You can if you wish to buy upgrades but they don't effect the best stuff in the game. So you are restricted considering it is a free game. 2moons.acclaim.com if you want to check it out

Well the game does have a pvp side to it but thats mainly dominated by end game levels. So say if the level cap is 80 which it isnt you'd have the 70-80's pvping. But you also have lots of safe zones when your little. PvE is how you level. You can solo level all the way up to 170 which is the max level cap. But it is alot easier to level at some stages through parties. So say you party with a healer and a tank and another dps aswell as yourself to do a dungeon or just to kill some hard monsters. Unfortunately alot of the end game stuff is pvp related. Dead front which is an event type thing running every 3 hours comprises of your party killing waves of monsters for 5 waves then you run to face a boss a couple more waves a bigger boss then it turns into pvp right at the end. the rest are really pvp so ... maybe a different game is what you seek

yer befor i quit runescape when ever i went to pvp world i would kill every 1 ther untill that lvl 100 came and raped he from behined. then i haked him lol he had no bank pin and had all party hats and dragon claws.

pvp has 2 many safe zones pvp you can get a faster combat xp and stuff and if no1 is ther dowing other things you can get faster lvls coz its pvp and ppl will be foghting eachother not woodcutting or mining (if any1 wounts a lvl 77acc in non mem and a lvl 79 in mem with lots of stuff sent me an email and u can have it)

If you dont mean grinding... and i mean ALOT of grinding, maplestory isnt too bad. Although that may fall into your "ness graphics" sections. It has no pvp at all.

yer maple story is good but its shit in many diffrent way's. if u wont a game like runescpe i recomand guildwars or if your into the shooter games download a game called cross fire

Have not played much online lately as I have been playing fallout 3 some more and just got stuck into Neverwinter Nights (diamond pack yay!)

Lol runescape... i still put it above Maple Story though. I had a lvl 90 something account with a green mask (back when red masks were 60-80M, green were 30M, santas were generally 5M less than green, and blue were somewhere in the middle) and millions in gp. Also briefly had a red mask when me and my brother were in the practice of merchanting rares together, but he got scammed and lost it. I gave away the account to someone last year though. Not that they'll get much use out of it. It's not a pure and being rich sucks when you can't do an old fashion drop party, or even give someone 100k for no reason. I don't think making money is that easy anymore either, what with the grand exchange. Merching isn't what it used to be. What i liked about merchanting rares was that sellers could manipulate the price by teaming up and pretending there was a spike going on. Buyers not wanting to miss out on the "rapidly increasing value" would pay for rares, and there would be a real spike for a few hours/days. Oh, and the wildy... wtf happened there? And risk of scamming? It's like PCs are walking around wrapped in bubblewrap now  |
