Draconis Just got in a shipment of the latest dnd rules set and they didn't even make it to the shelves.  Once I have had a chance to familiarize myself with the system I will be trying to GM a game next Saturday afternoon / evening ( 30th ). Please let Ash or myself know if you are interested in playing as we will need to limit the table to 6 PC. Access to a copy of the players hand book would be a big help but is not essential. Total novices to RPG's are welcome as none of us has used the system yet so we will all be in the NOOB boat together. So don't be afraid to take the plunge if you are at all interested or even just curious.  |

Let me know when the first night is and I can try n make it up if you want since I've played a few games of 4th and I'm currently DMing my own group. I'd also suggest the premades like Keep of the Shadowfeel and the follow ons as theyre built to take you from 1 - 30, linking in with each other and providing everything to make it relatively idiot proof. Good if you happen to be too sick to DM one night and have to get a stand in.
Dungeon Delve is also good if you just want something you can whip out and do a random dungeon.

I think he will be ok, only been playing for uber years.... new system or not.
Read the book, know whats going on player wise... good to go.
Meg, Jacob and I will definately be playing. Hopefully Steve can make it!

Awsome. Character Builder is an awsome program to use since it contains all the info from everything theyve released for 4th Ed, including books and articles etc. Only problem is, like army builder you need a subscription.

Subscription will be paid. It is a good program and the players have been making characters in it. So far we got 4 players and a fair few more interested. Every Saturday night from 4pm onwards is RPG night so we will be making some good headway soon! Dave is running a quick bash just to familiarise players with the new rules but from what I have seen its not too different or difficult. Afterall most here have played Shadowrun and it does not get much more complex then that  |

Hahaha Shadowrun? Hell yeah you'll be right, this is a walk in the park compared to that.
Im looking at running 4th ED at club every 2nd week since its been a bit complicated getting it organised for another night in the week.

Well we have 4 players now and the DM meaning we are still open for another 2 players. Come and join with the party. We have only played through 2 encounters so you have not missed much XP.
We are playing Saturday nights from 5pm till about midnight.
