yo Pup!

I saw that you have recieved some of Rebel Minis Zombie minis. Being as you are the only person I know who has picked some of these up I was wondering what you thought of them?

Could you give a quick review on them as I find the 15mm scale to be cool but was a little hesitant as not all 15mm minis hold good detail.

I can not remember if you said you just got the zombies or if you got one of the ATZ boxed sets they do... could check but annae be arsed

Are the other pieces cool?

also would be cool to use them in weird war or something similar as you have the zombies (are they detailed in a way that they could be used in any era without too much conversion work) and then all the 15mm WW2 at our fingertips with FOW....

Could be interesting.....

Well I've not had close looks at other 15mm stuff, so I can't really compare it to FOW and the like. To my eye, I like the level of detail - I'm by no means a master painter, so I don't want TOO much detail!

Face detail seems OK. Creases in clothing look right, hair detail looks nice and proportions look good.

Again, I've not had close looks at other 15mm, but these seem to have a lot of flashing that's going to require cleaning up, and obvious mould lines.

Got the boxed set. The other pieces are of similar quality to the zombies - detail to me looks good - gold chains, nice folds in the clothing, pocket details etc.

I got 2nd, 3rd and 5th from left.

In the next couple of days I'll try to get some close-up shots of them as I got them, flashing, mould lines, level of detail etc. That may be more useful to you than a 'review', since I've got no experience to compare them.

Hey, what's with this being under the 'dirt cheap' section anyways - I Splashed out on these things! ;D I think the're comparibly priced with FOW figs, at around 30 bucks AU for the 50? (Plus about 5 bucks postage... Sad that it cost less to get them here from the US than I would have to pay to send them across the country....)

I just thought this would be the most obvious way to get the thread to you. I'll move it now to general gaming....

Pics would be great, seen how they look on the website and they look good but website shots can sometimes be a little misleading sometimes in regards to quality of what gets through to the consumer.
