I like the designs. At $8 you really can not get this stuff thats purpose built much cheaper. Consider me sold!
May even get the citadel paint station even though I already have my own designed one. The pot fits so why not?

Personally I wouldnt go the paint station, I like the CNC ones better. Plus I'm anal and most likely with anything premade it probably wouldnt be just quite right for my mind.

Anyways... do they even do a paint station? I know they do paint racks and tool racks etc but an actual paint station thats easily carried from room to room etc?
Maybe ill just get some CNC racks and glue em to some MDF..... *sarcasm*
CNC stuff good for a static setup that you do not want to carry around easily in one piece.

How so? you could assemble your desired work station set-up, then glue it to a suitably thin peice of mdf and add handles, Wouldnt be that dodgy.

Well firstly it depends on the set up. From CNC you will want a minimum of 2 paint racks and 1 tool rack and 1 parts rack (you would not do it any less if you were going this route). These are not very weighty on their own but filli em up with paints, tools and whatever project you are working on at the time and it starts to get some weight. The length will be over 1000mm wide making it too wide to get through doors width wise. The CNC stuff is about 200mm deep, you want about 300-400mm of depth for your work space giving you a total of between 500-600mm depth once again making it difficult to get through a door. You will be scraping your back each time you do it. Back to the weight. You will not want to place this on thin MDF at all. Lateral twisting will cause your gluing to pop and any screws to slowly wrench out of the board. You will need something thicker and I would not go less than 12mm and preferrably 18mm MDF which will add to the weight (but thats not really a problem) So like I have said: Smaller work station, make it yourself from MDF or just buy a prefab like GW for something portable. CNC and nice large worktop for something fixed. Ill have both soonish enough
