This should all keep Dodo very happy indeed: Space Wolves have the Counter Attack and Acute Senses special Rules. They may employ twice the number of HQ choices in their forces! New plastic box the Space Wolves Pack which has lots and lots of pretty bits including heaps of special gear such as Thunder Hammers, Power Weapons, Wolve Claws etc. 44 heads, 28 SW shoulder pads. It can make up a squad in its own right but there will be plenty of bits left over for converting up other squads such as scouts, devs etc. there are 2 ShoulderPad bits packs being released. One dedicated to Ragnars boys... New Wolve guard terminators plastic boxed set. 5 of the coolest looking terminators you will see (except maybe the ones from Space Hulk  ) New Special Character Canis Wolfborn. Can lead a unit of SW's cavalry mounted on Thunderwolves. He can use the number of enemy models in base contact as his attacks characteristic!! There are a bunch of cool new rules coming with the other Special Characters including Logan Grimnars (forgot the name) but he and the squad he joins can choose one of the special rules for that turn: Fearless Tank hunters Relentless Prefferred enemy |

Oh, Battleforce is 20 SW's, 5 Scouts and either 3 bikes or a drop pod... cant quite remember...

WooHoo! I saw pictures of the wolves pack sprue on the GW website, the stuff on there looks sooooooo good. I havent seen that many bits crammed onto a sprue in ages. And yay more termies! xD Im sure krueger will be thrilled  I cant wait for them to put up the advance order so I can start shopping. |

Nice one. Will look forward to a rematch sometime in the future. This time it will be orcs. Marines are too easy to use I have decided and a bit too plain and boring.
I think Im going all orc nowadays. Just started to put together my Goff Army based around 100 boys in units of 20...

My space wolves will be undergoing a radical change in play style. Just waiting for the new codex so I can decide what exactly Im going to get. Basically I'm looking at a fast moving and flexible army, as opposed to at the moment where its pretty much just big load of blood claws and some termies to win each game.

Gotta say the new figures are incredible, love the new Njal Stormcaller, but I just can't make myself like that guy on the giant wolf. It's just too ridiculous. Nice codex though, might just have to get my wolves up and running again.

Yeah the wolf is a bit much, but i dont mind it. Just looked through it all and read some of the rumoured rules, all I can say is that I may or may not be incredibly hard right now.
Except no land speeder storm is going to suck since guess what I bought a week ago... >_<

No thundefire cannon either, I don't mind that they didn't include all the vehicles as then there would be no point in doing regular marines. You can have 4 HQ choices though.

Yeah which is good, because at the moment we HAVE to take 1 for every 750pts, which means a 3000pt game ive got 4HQs anyway.
I dont mind that theres no thunderfire cannon, it doesnt fit the space wolve ethos at all. But the storm would have. Ohwell.
