[News] Forge World Fantasy?

At German Games day while being asked questions by the general public one of the GW representatives there was asked about if FW was going to be producing any new fantasy models as recently they have not been doing so. The response:

"I also brought up the topic of Chaos Dwarfs, and they said straight away that there are some things planned with Fantasy, but in a different way. GW will create a sister company that is specialized in Fantasy and will hire new designers for that task. So don't expect Forge World to do much in Fantasy as the designers there are 40k-fans and will produce accordingly."

Forge World have made some really cool models for the Fantasy range but the number of productions pales to their support of Fantasy. They are a Forge World after all...

A lot of people have looked to other manufacturers for some really nice higher than regular quality models (Avatars of War is a good one).

I've heard this new company may be tackling the chaos dwarfs since GW isn't interested in them any more.

Some rumours for you all.

The big 4 races (Empire, Dwarves, WOC, Orcs and Goblins) will be getting releases along with lots for Skaven.

They will be doing Chaos Dwarves, however it may take a long time as they want to do the project justice.

40k Warhound Titan sized miniatures are being discussed.

Conversion packs will be done for armies, however they will only relate to the new releases. ie; Like they do for IA.

The company will be more focussed on big monsters never seen before, so we probally won't see any small creatures, except for mounts, like trolls.

If they release books they will be based on historic battles. eg; The Fall of Solland.
