Although the Dice and Deck is a great store for the last 2 years the Renmark region has been lacking a properly run gaming club.
That stops soon.
There have been discussions in various circles for a while now and a decision has been made. A new club will be formed with its own identity, insurance, staff etc
There will be a general meeting held at the Dice amd Deck that will inform you all about how this is going to work, who will be doing what and any change to membership structure and benefits.
Date coming soon.
In the meantime post what you would like to see happen at the club, your ideas for the future etc.
Any questions, just ask and I will get back to you.

Oh, we will be looking for a name too. Nothing too crazy as this will appear in various forms of advertisment and will be representative of what we do and who we are.
This will also be the name of these boards along with Mildura Waaagh!

Sounds like a might fine plan. Still using D&D premises but an ACTUAL club, rather than just the store.

Yep, the club will be situated at the DnD in the half that is currently being used for gaming. It will become the clubs home, run by the club and for the club.
This is good for the gaming community as a whole as previously everything that was run before was for the sake of a store (financial gains etc) now its for the hobby itself!

I suggest "Big River Wargamers" or similar. I wouldn't include "Renmark" or "Riverland" in the title as you want to include the other Riverland towns and Mildura as much as possible.

Always hated the "Big River"concept... Likewise as a matter of fact. I was simply trying to avoid using the names I mentioned. I think the name should include a reference to the general area. Perhaps "Murray Wargamers Association" (abbreviated to MWA Ha Ha Ha HaHa HaHa Haaaaaaa)  |
