This will be held at the Club quarters.
(Date will be posted when I remember it... Saturday the 2nd at 5pm?)
All are welcome especially those of you who are paying members.
There is currently a club discussion/ideas box in store and this will be opened up at the meeting and have the items bought to the light of day and talked upon.
We will also be announcing the clubs structure and how it will function but here is a brief overview for now so that if you can think of any issues you can post them here to be discussed at the meeting:
There is a club commitee of 4 people who specialise in different genres and activitees as part of the hobby. They are:
Steve S (Draconis): Flames of War
Dave H (bigdave): Rpgs, Computer gaming
Jacob M (jacob): CCG's
Ashley H (ash): all other gaming
Each of these people will be responsible for the running of the events and promotion of their various fields of the hobby. At the moment there is no seperate painting/modelling person as they are wrapped up into the various genres etc.
These same 4 people will look after the club itself, its running and the decisions. All decisions will be made as a vote within the commitee on a popular vote basis (no need for unanimous results)
Ashley H and Dave H will look after the funding, collection of monies and banking via a cosigned account.
For the time being membership fees will remain the same ($10 month) but with discounts to half yearly and yearly up front payments ($50 half year, $100 full year). A full half of these membership fees will go to the Dice and Deck Wargamng Store for the hire of the club room. All other money recieved and raised will go to the club and be for the club.
The club will have its own seperate insurance policy.
There are many more things to discuss and if you can think of anything else that needs to be added to this or you would like to discuss post it.
