The Mildura WAAAGH has grown out of its old digs and has now taken resident in a bigger and fancier location:
The Mildura Church of Christ Hall on the corner of 10th and Deakin (accross the road from fishers) we'll be meeting at 5pm on MONDAY nights and people are asked to enter via the laneway entrance.
Of course all are still invited to attend and help this club to grow even bigger!

Also keep an eye out for future events and some new features such as anual club fees coming up. Things are only getting better from here

Well basically what im looking at doing is an anual membership fee aimed at the regulars (it wont be much, only $20 - $30ish) which will get you a discount on regular meetings and events and maybe some prize draws through the year. This will be used to facilate getting all the insurance and registering as an organisation sorted out, with the remainder going into the kitty for club goodies and events. Id also like to do a membership card, if only for the novelty but that may be a bit in the future.

Hello, Are these events still being held? I've been looking for comrades in geekdom since I moved up this way a while back and would like to stick my nose in one monday if that's cool with everyone.

Hey tkioz,
Yep, every Monday night from about 5:30pm onwards in the hall at the back of the Mildura Church of Christ (10th Street Mildura). Just walk down 10th street past the doors to the church, turn left and head in the black door at the far end of the building.
Next Monday in a public holiday, but the club still runs. Most of the guys play Games Workshop games (40k being the most popular) but i've manage to twist their arms into playing an RPG. On Monday we're rolling up characters to play Pathfinder (Basically D&D 3.5 re-born).
Another 40k campaign is planned for later this year including an all night Apocalypse game.
Do come and join us, you'd be most welcome! Hope to see you there.
