After the recent NFI preseason competition the Dark ELf team, the Rampaging Reapers have announced that they will not be taking part in the NFI regular season games which are held every sunday afternoon. THe Reapers have instead taken a small sum of money to act in the capacity as the league's official practice team. Midweek games will be scheduled on an ad hoc basis for new teams that wish to build their team up before playing in official regular season games. Midweek practice games will not count as regular season games. Once any team has played in one regular season game they are ineligble to play practice matches.
Therefore the reapers offer their services once a week to a new team that wants an easy win before entering the league officially. THe league commisioner said at a press conference earlier today that he was "pleased to secure for this role a team so well suited to the task", clearly aluding to the fact that the Reapers have not yet won a game, and in preseason play allowed 10TDs in 4 games, scoring just one themselves.
Preseason games can be aranged by negotiation with both the league commisioner and the head coach of the Reapers. THe league training facilities need to be booked in advance, and will not be available without prior arangement.
Sunday regular season games remain unchanged, but are expected to benefit by allowing new teams to build up their skill level before jumping in the deep end.
