The grey hunter packs will be done by tommorow night, barring the bolter arms for 2 of them which i cant do until i get my hands on a couple of right hand bolt pistol arms to swap in bolters on. The rhino ill assemble on the weekend, probably with no interior detail done due to laziness.
The wolf lord is the Space Wolf Captain model i have, ill be using him unpainted for now lol Im thinking of using some green stuff to make the med dispensers that wolf priests have on their belts, and painting him up as a wolf priest, just cus i think the wolf helmet will look cool done up like a traditional Chaplain's skull helmet.

Any input?

The rhino is assembled and ready to be sprayed on tuesday night when i can steal a can. the only thing missing is the cupola guy im doing up to go in it which ill probably do tommorow, along with the last 3 grey hunters.

Just finished the Terminators. Was going to swap the power sword for an axe off the marauder horsemen sprue but got lazy so ill just paint some runes on it instead.
Ill post some pics when i get a camera. The forgeworld parts really make the terminators look awsome, even though they were a bitch to work with.

Not much to say, still pottering along. Undercoated the terminators and rhino this morning, but have to get a new brush before i can start on the terminators. used my tank brush to do most of the base coat on the rhino. gunna try and finish off the rest of the grey hunters this week (i feel bad leaving them headless like they are)
Play testing has shown some lack lustre performances from my terminators which makes me sad. Goddam orbital bombardment.
Gunna try out some changes suggested to me, such as dropping the bolters on the grey hunter squads and loading em up with power weapons etc.
Also thinking i need a tank of some sort, havent decided between a vindicator or a predator though =/

Ok things are pretty much at a standstill painting wise, but ive returned to renmark with a long fang squad assembled (discounting the dodgy army on the lascannon guy) and a scout squad done. The scouts are gunna receive heads from the marauder horsemen box set, since they look awsome and will only take a little filing to fit perfectly. However whether its from my misuse or their crappy equipment the games i played with them tend to involve them dying pretty quick. i intend to get some metal wolf scouts online to do the rear assault squad of scouts, which should hopefully hurt armies which like to hang back and shoot at me *cough*tau*cough*

Tau should always field one unit of Kroot to deal with flanking attackers and the such but noone does it...

Looks like your army will be a good one come the January Doubles!

Lol the guy i played on tuesday fielded lots of kroot.... and then used them to shoot with >_> while moving his firewarriors forward a bit. His broadsides weren't deployed properly because he didnt know "Heavy" just meant you couldnt move and shoot, not that you couldnt deploy in a building, so he spent 2 turns moving the bloody things. Then his tanks just didnt have much luck at all with their shooting. Wish we could have finished the game

Well i finally added heads to the space wolf scouts, turns out marauder horsemen heads fit perfectly with no modification and look awsome on them. Might get another box of plastic scouts and just buy the metal assault weapon wolf scouts.
Gunna lay of gaming this week so i can get to and catch up on painting.

So much for painting. Ive been working as a security guard since thursday but tonight is my last for a few days, and last with my current employer. On the bright side i might be picking up my Crusader, which if i rush i might have assembled for apocolypse on saturday here in mildura.
