The only problem is id only ever use them in apocolypse. I think ill go with a monolith phalanx instead since Necrons is going to be my next propper 40k army.

Yeah... i wouldnt use TH/SS terminators in my normal lists for spacewolves since our storm shields suck balls.

Well all the little tanks for FOW have currently got my attention. This means my Apocalypse stuff has come to a bit of a standstill. Fear not! I am fully meaning to return to this stuff soon especially as June will see another HUUUGE game of Apocalypse. I am still moving along on all my Apocalypse stuff. Here have some photos and a few notes on what I have done:  This is a very early start to my Flakka Dakka Wagon. With the release of the Valkyrie I figured we will start to see some flyers in our Apoc games. It will possibly be the first thing to be targeted by said flyers but that will still leave me with a crap load of Grot guided rokkits to have a crack at taking them down! Its basically a Battlewagon with a Stompa gun assembly, slightly modified, added to the back. Have a lot of work to do on this including more barrels and the Grot Glowy Gun!  I was going to work on the stuff from the Apoc books first but thought I would have a crack at the Goff Rokkin Rolla Stompa. Have not done a real lot yet except made a start on the rolla istelf (A length of PVC pipe with some spikey bits added.) There will be a few twists in the design making mine look a lot different from the one in WD. I like my stuff really chunky so it will have massive shoulders and thicker arms. And no, I will not have spotlights for the eyes!  It's a gut kannon I swear! Here is my Kustom Stompa. I have given it many upgrades taking this beast to around 1000pts. Standard body build but then I have added all sorts of other bits and pieces such as a Battlewagon Turret on the shoulder and swapped over the gun arm to the right. Changing the weapon arm was a little bit of a challenge as I had to reposition the ammo feed and ammo belt. This beast is also getting one hell of a wrecking ball:  This started as a humble polystyrene ball in which I carved out the panels, hit it with several coats of PVA and then added all the spikes, extra plates and rivets. I think it has turned out alright!   Added some blue to my first Stompa. I did this in exactly the same way as my Orcs from my Tale of 40k Gamers Diary. Shadow Grey followed by a Asurman Blue wash. I am a real fan of the streaky finish and even if I was not a fan of it I would accept it anyway as its quick and easy (I am a fairly slack painter) Here is a close up of the side plate:  Anyways I would like to thank Kevin Rudd for making the start of these projects a reality! |
